Overview
Ag and FAg have high electrical and thermal conductivity, low and stable contact resistance, and good welding and processing properties. Due to the addition of a small amount of nickel to silver, FAg greatly refines the grain structure of the material. Under the condition of almost the same contact resistance, its mechanical strength and temperature resistance are higher than silver. Therefore, the resistance to welding and arc erosion ability is better than Ag.
